Over the last few weeks I came to the conclusion that we all should write more letters!
Write-More-Letters is a project to promote taking some time out of ouf busy lifes, sit down, write dwon your thoughts to mail them out by post, lovingly called snail mail.
I decided to start a project to encourage you (and myself) to grab paper and pen and actually do write more letters.
Contest
I want to make it very interactive and I decided that there will be a raffle for all participants . To take part (and as proof) simply join me on my Facebook page here and post a picture of the letter(s) you have written.
The raffle will take place at the end of November and the winner will be drawn at random amongst all photo entries. Please make sure that the addresses – if visible – are greyed out to ensure data security.
The project runs from 4th August 2010 until 30th November and the winner will be announced early December 201o. The price will be a Moleskine® Notebook.

What to write about – some inspiration.
Especially when you take up writing letters (again) you might wonder what there is to write about. For inspiration please follow this link here to a blog that I have found and follow myself:
http://365lettersblog.blogspot.com/
The author started in January 2009 about the “project to write a letter every day throughout 2009″. Althought that project is now complete, the blog lives on “a new version of 365 Letters for 2010, 365 letter writing ideas. For more information about the 2010 project, read this post Jan. 1, 2010. ”
I am sure you will find many many ideas what to write about and whom to write to.
In addition I have read a post from Debra about what to write in a journal. The same can be applied to letter writing:
1. What do you enjoy doing more than anything in the world? Write a list of activities. Can you do more of these things? Is there any way to do some of these things for a living?
2. What do you feel you are naturally good at? What are your strengths?
3. If you were given $1000 right now to give to charity, who would you give it to? Would you give the whole amount to one organization or break it up and give to different causes?
4. Write down five things you are thankful for right now.
5. What kind of wild adventure would you like to go on in the near future? Describe it. Where would you like to go? With whom? What would you do? When are you going to do it? .
.
So, no more talk!
Let’s take out paper and pen and write the first letter today. This in not about making new pen pals – simply go through your address book and pick a few names.

What a cool post about notebooks, I didn’t feel that you’ll come across something below. A pleasant shock, it comes about seldom, but here we can speak of a true extra value towards reader. Annoy me about blogs usually amateurish write-up with out great form and with errors. Here I’m pleasantly shocked. Hopefully make it to some authors, and create for their readers and not to have anything online.
